Peter K.M. Megaw
Dr. Megaw, Ph.D., C.P.G., received his doctorate from the University of Arizona and more than 35 years of experience exploring for silver and gold in Mexico. He is a Certified Professional Geologist by the American Institute of Professional Geologists and an Arizona Registered [Professional Geologist. Dr. Megaw discovered MAG Silver's Juanicipio silver deposit, MAG Silver's Cinco de Mayo project and new ore bodies at Excellon Resources' Platosa Mine. Dr. Megaw is the author of numerous scientific publications on ore deposits, and is a frequent speaker at academic and international exploration conferences. He was also awarded the 2017 Thayer Lindsley Award for the 2003 discovery of the Juanicipio silver deposit in the Fresnillo District, ultimately leading to a further 600 million ounces being identified in the immediate area.
David M. Jones
Mr. Jones, M.S., is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the University of Arizona, and has 40 years of exploration experience as a specialist in skarn and porphyry systems in North America. As the foremost expert on the Guerrero Gold Belt, he is the discoverer of the Los Filos gold deposit in 1995. He led the successful bid by Teck Corp. to acquire the Morelos Norte reserve (now El Limon/Los Guajes deposits). He subsequently served as chief technical advisor to and helped establish Torex Gold. More recently, Mr. Jones was responsible for identifying the exploration target that directly led to the discovery of Gold Resource Corp's Switchback deposit. He served as a director of Cayden Resources through their acquisition by Agnico Eagle.
President, CEO & Director
Mr. Rader, BBA, is responsible for the company's corporate development, marketing and financing. Having directly raised over $100 million for mineral exploration and development, Mr. Rader has significant contacts with institutional investors and bankers. Mr. Rader is currently a director and the founder of Defiance Silver Corp., advanced Mexican Silver explorer. He previously served as the Manager of Corporate Development for an international drilling company overseeing its growth from three drill rigs to over eighty in its fleet, and IMPACT Silver Corp that was transformed from a grass roots silver explorer into a profitable silver miner. Mr. Rader holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from Simon Fraser University and a Diploma in Prospecting from BCIT.
Mr. Medilek is a mining professional with over 12 years of mine engineering, capital markets and M&A experience. Mr. Medilek began his career as a mining engineer with Barrick Gold Corporation in Western Australia focusing on underground mines. After his tenure at Barrick, he became a Mining Investment Banker with Cormark Securities Inc. and subsequently an Equity Research Analyst at Macquarie Group Limited. Mr. Medilek is currently the Vice President Business Development and Investor Relations at producer K92 Mining. Mr. Medilek holds a Bachelor of Applied Science with Distinction in Mining Engineering from the University of British Columbia, a Professional Engineer designation in the Province of British Columbia, and is a CFA® charterholder.
Lawrence W. Talbot
Mr. Talbot, LLB, is a mining lawyer with experience representing a wide range of clients in the mining industry, from junior and mid-size explorers and producers to major mining companies. He has extensive experience acting for public natural resource companies and providing advice on all aspects of their businesses, including corporate finance, securities and regulatory matters, corporate governance and shareholder issues, and all aspects of corporate acquisitions, takeovers, divestitures and reorganizations.
